It works well. You should download the english version, and in the installator then select english before the game gets installed. Change the selection box to english version. You'll have the english version even if the installer is on russian.
The game is in Russian, doesn't work and my computer thinks it's corrupted; but thank you for the download that took half an hour to complete and the disc I needed to burn it too that will not work. This is one of the best games i have ever spent my money on. The installer for the english version is apparently still in russian, judging by the screwed text.
